This September, we're marking a poignant anniversary with a night of music, community, and celebration at Fletchers Bar. Join us for a special edition of Kalab Lounge as we commemorate the Unity Festival—an event born out of love and resilience following the racist Islamophobic attack last year on our beloved Kings Heath resident, Mr. Naseem.

In the face of recent events, including the far-right racist riots across the country, which seek to sow divisions in amongst our communities, we are more determined than ever to stand together. Our Mini Unity Festival is a vibrant response, a chance to come together, celebrate our diversity, and spread messages of peace, love, and unity.

The evening will be unforgettable, featuring a spectacular performance by Reggae Winehouse, a Birmingham-based reggae tribute band that brings the soulful hits of Amy Winehouse to life in a unique, roots reggae style. And that's not all—we've also assembled a powerhouse line-up of Birmingham’s top female DJs to keep the energy flowing all night long.

So, gather your friends and family, and come down to Fletchers Bar on Friday, 20th September. Let’s unite through the universal language of music—no fuss, no fight, just peace, love and unity vibes.
